Our Ensembles

Gold Rush is Trenton R-9's premier show choir, combining powerful vocal performance with dynamic choreography. This ensemble represents the school at competitions and community events throughout the year, bringing high-energy performances that blend contemporary and classic styles.

Students in Gold Rush demonstrate exceptional commitment, balancing rigorous vocal training with demanding choreographic rehearsals. Their performances are a highlight of the Trenton community's performance calendar.

The Treble Singers ensemble is dedicated to developing young treble voices in a nurturing, encouraging environment. Students explore a wide repertoire spanning classical choral literature, musical theatre, and contemporary music, building foundational skills that serve them throughout their musical lives.

Concert Choir is Trenton's full mixed-voice ensemble, bringing together soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in the pursuit of choral excellence. The ensemble performs a broad repertoire from sacred and secular classical works to modern choral arrangements, representing the program at formal concerts and festivals.

Concert Choir is open to all students with a passion for vocal music and serves as the foundation of the choral program.

Named for the school's proud colors, The Black and Gold show choir embodies the spirit of Trenton R-9 in every performance. This ensemble combines tight vocal harmonies with high-energy choreography, performing at competitions across the region and entertaining audiences at community events throughout the year.

Bella Vocé — meaning "beautiful voice" — is Trenton's select women's ensemble. This intimate group focuses on the rich tradition of women's choral literature, from Renaissance madrigals to contemporary women's arrangements, performing with elegance, precision, and a uniquely expressive sound.

Bella Vocé is selected by audition and is distinguished by its commitment to artistic refinement and close ensemble singing.
