Our Ensembles

Gold Rush is Trenton R-9's premier vocal ensemble, bringing together the program's most dedicated singers for its most challenging repertoire. The group represents the school at concerts and community events throughout the year, performing music that ranges from contemporary to classic.

Membership in Gold Rush reflects a high level of commitment and musicianship, and the ensemble's performances are a highlight of the Trenton community's calendar.

The Treble Singers ensemble is dedicated to developing young treble voices in a nurturing, encouraging environment. Students explore a wide repertoire spanning classical choral literature, musical theatre, and contemporary music, building foundational skills that serve them throughout their musical lives.

This ensemble is often the first step in a student's choral journey — and the start of lifelong friendships built through song.

Concert Choir is Trenton's full mixed-voice ensemble, bringing together soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in the pursuit of choral excellence. The ensemble performs a broad repertoire from sacred and secular classical works to modern choral arrangements, representing the program at formal concerts and festivals.

Concert Choir is open to all students with a passion for vocal music and serves as the foundation of the choral program.

Named for the school's proud colors, The Black and Gold is Trenton R-9's tenor and bass ensemble — a group of its own for the program's lower voices. Singers explore repertoire written specifically for tenor and bass parts and perform at concerts and community events throughout the year.

The Black and Gold builds the confidence, blend, and range that its members carry into every other ensemble they sing in.

Bella Vocé — meaning "beautiful voice" — is Trenton's select women's ensemble. This intimate group focuses on the rich tradition of women's choral literature, from Renaissance madrigals to contemporary women's arrangements, performing with elegance, precision, and a uniquely expressive sound.

Bella Vocé is selected by audition and is distinguished by its commitment to artistic refinement and close ensemble singing.
